My Story of Finding Biblical Truth: From Tradition to Transformation

What I Once Believed Before Finding Biblical Truth

This is my story of finding biblical truth and letting go of long-held traditions. For most of my life, I believed I was saved. I had grown up with teachings that were comforting, familiar, and well-intentioned. But over time, I began to realize they weren’t fully aligned with the Word of God. I was taught that baptism was an outward sign of an inward transformation-a public declaration, but not a requirement. It was something I embraced wholeheartedly and defended it passionately. I thought that was honoring God. But something stirred in me. I started feeling unsettled-like there was more to the Gospel than I had been taught. I realized that I was relying on the voices of preachers, teachers and tradition instead of going directly to the Word of God.

Finding Biblical Truth by Reading the Word for Myself

Everything changed when I opened the Bible with fresh eyes and a prayerful heart. It was Acts 2 that grabbed my attention. The people heard the Gospel. They believed it. They were cut to the heart and asked, “What shall we do?”

Peter’s answer was clear:

“Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins…” (Acts 2:38, ESV)

It wasn’t a suggestion or symbolic but it was obedience.

Every single conversion in the New Testament followed the same pattern: belief, repentance, baptism. The Word of God—sharper than any two-edged sword—cut through my confusion and transformed my thinking.

I saw that baptism wasn’t an optional display—it was the moment sins were washed away and new life began (Acts 22:16, Romans 6:3–4, Galatians 3:27). That’s when I began to truly understand what it means to find biblical truth for yourself.

Living Out the Biblical Truth I Found

Since that day, I’ve committed to living and sharing truth without compromise and love without condition.

I share from personal transformation—not judgment because I know what it’s like to trust tradition more than truth. I know what it’s like to believe with sincerity but fall short of full obedience. And I know the power of the Word when it’s opened, read, and applied in full.

That’s why I created With Truth And Love—to share biblical truth in plain language, with compassion and clarity.

Not to build a platform, but to point people to the only name that saves.
Not to preach at others, but to invite them to walk with me—as I walk with Him.

Whether you’re questioning, curious, or convinced—you are welcome here.
Let’s open the Word together and let it speak for itself.
